Adapting in the Wake of COVID-19

.Well, here we are, in the midst of a pandemic. How can we support each other? What do we do now?

I could go on and on answering those questions. This period will, without a doubt, be in the history books for future generations. The simple answer to both those questions: social distancing. It is the current action to take and it is how we support each other. If we're lucky, at the end of this, the extent of the turmoil will be reflected through the economy rather than the death count.

I imagine those of us in the service industry are among the most affected. In addition to dogs, I work a "day job" as a massage therapist. As you can imagine, it is an impossible job to perform with the recommended 6-foot distance. My place of employment made the (necessary and responsible) decision to suspend business for the time being. I fully support this, as there is no amount of sanitary practices that can ensure we won't contribute to the rapid spreading of this virus.

I am doing my part to #flattenthecurve, and I am hoping those with secure jobs that allow working from home can support us self-employed and service workers in our efforts!

So, I thought this would be the perfect time to roll out the options to pre purchase those dog massages as the time for agility trials will come again soon enough.

Massage Rates:

  • 1-2 massages: $50/massage

  • 3-5 massages: $47/massage

  • 6 or more massages: $45/massage

Feel free to email malee@kinectedcanine.com if you have any questions or need assistance. We will all get through this, and I think we're all extra lucky to have dogs by our sides during this uncertain time!
